Theory of Pray

I'm a Muslim and after every Salah I pray. So one day after watching the movie "Adjustment bureau", I thought that whenever someone prays for anything, he is wanting an event to happen according to his desire.

What if God doesn't listen his pray? Will that same event happen according to him?
Well...may be and may not be!

So whenever someone prays, he wants God to make an adjustment so that same event can happen according to him.

This is what happens in the movie "Adjustment Bureau".

So the "Pray Theory" states that may be God has an adjustment bureau too for executing the adjustments which are prayed by us.

I don't know if someone has given this theory before although I think it has been given.
